Life Update

I know, I know, it’s been way too long, It wasn’t until I sat down to write this post that I realized how much I miss this. But I wanted to give everyone a brief update of the goings on in our house of blondes.

First, as I mentioned in this post we are in a prolonged transitional period after moving to Oklahoma. Living with my parents (in the RV on their driveway) has been a huge blessing financially and has allowed us to save up to buy a house. Which leads into the second update: We close on our house on Friday!!! Again, we are so thankful to have been able to live with my parents, but after two months, we are ready to have out own place.

We are looking forward to being our own people again and FINALLY finding a steady routine (which should mean a more regular blogging schedule). But that will have to wait for a couple of weeks. This week I am focusing on gathering and repacking all the things we brought to my parents to make life more comfortable and setting up utilities for the new house. And next week, due to circumstance beyond my control, I will not have internet at my house so blogging will be virtually impossible. But I will be thinking and creating so I’ll be able to crank out some great content after we get settled.

But just because I can’t write new content doesn’t mean there won’t be new content. a few weeks ago, I asked my sister-in-law if she would write something for the blog. She is the wife of an Active Duty Naval Officer so if anyone knows what an unpredictable and abnormal lifestyle looks like, she does. And let me tell you, her post is SO GOOD and is applicable to spouses everywhere, not just military wives. So keep your eyes open and make sure you don’t miss it.

I look forward to getting back to writing very soon. God Bless!
